Amanda Reid BEng (Hons)
Specialist areas: building services project management; knowledge of technology
Amanda is a Senior Project Manager at sineQN having previously practised as an electrical design engineer. She has worked in a wide variety of areas including international banking, hotels, multi-tenancy office fit-outs and broadcast facilities. She spent most of her early career working for BT as a Systems Engineer, designing and implementing Wide Area Networks for transmission of media data for the broadcast industry.
Amanda then moved into Project Management while at BT, managing the delivery of new backbone technology fibre networks where she was responsible for ensuring key milestones were met throughout the project life cycle from the design, procurement, implementation and commissioning of the networks.
Amanda then moved on to work for Cundall – as an Intermediate Engineer and quickly progressed to Senior Electrical Engineer while working on a Candy & Candy development in central London. Amanda was responsible for the planning, design and coordination of services. This involved producing designs, reports, specifications and regular liaison with teams at all levels including clients, architects, contractors and suppliers.
Amanda holds a first class Honours Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from South Bank University.
In her spare time she enjoys playing badminton, socialising, eating out and reading a good book.
