Christopher Taylor

Christopher Taylor BSc (Hons), MSc, MBA, MRICS – Director

Specialist areas: project strategy & procurement; buildability knowledge; team management

Chris Taylor is a Chartered Surveyor with 15 years experience of managing uncertainty and change in complex and fast moving construction projects. An experienced strategic project manager, Chris has worked as a team leader in consultancy, contracting and client-side roles.

At sineQN, Chris is responsible for strategic project management, team leadership as well as overall project strategy. He also oversees buildability and programme management.

Prior to sineQN, Chris was Vice President for a major investment bank. There, he served as Head of the data centre build team where he was responsible for the delivery of the UK data centre construction programme. This simultaneous design, procurement and construction of 3no Tier 3+ data centres required the application of leadership and team management skills as well as business acumen.

Previously, Chris was a senior project manager at Bovis Lend Lease, where he handled the project management of BBC’s White City New Media Village on behalf of Land Securities. His project management skills were applied to the construction of the new broadcast centre, including the installation and fitting out of the IT infrastructure and data centre. During his time at Bovis, Chris also managed the design, tender and construction of the fit-out for Queen Mary’s Hospital PFI in Roehampton.

Chris holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and an MSc in Construction Law & Arbitration from Kings College London. He also qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1995 (MRICS) with The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from the University of Greenwich.

Chris spends his spare time with his family, works on his house in France, is learning French and also plays squash.
