Gavan Mackenzie BSc, MRICS – Managing Director

Gavan Mackenzie is a Chartered Surveyor with 20 years experience of assembling and managing teams for construction programmes. He has lived and worked abroad extensively. Gavan is now concentrating on developing the field of strategic project management in the property sector. From his work with investment banks over the past 7 years Gavan’s skillsets include developing business cases for major capital projects; supporting funding applications to senior personnel in an investment banking environment; and working across functional departments within large corporates. Gavan also has significant experience working with corporate governance and heavily audited environments.
Gavan led the formation of sineQN, a niche strategic project management consultancy and has quickly won commissions globally with major corporate institutions.
Prior to sineQN Gavan was Head of Project Management and Construction Services, EMEA, at a global investment bank and was responsible for over 100 projects in 27 countries.
After obtaining a BSc in Building Surveying at Leicester Polytechnic Gavan went on to earn accreditation as a Chartered Surveyor and practiced building surveying and project management in the UK and overseas.
Gavan is a keen cyclist, enjoys mountaineering and sailing when time permits.
