Mission Critical Strategy

We have a successful track record in ‘inception to completion’ consultancy services for data centre projects – including new-build, fit-outs, extensions and live upgrades. Our activities include:

Strategy
Establishing key project drivers to formulate and develop an effective project delivery strategy.

Feasibility
Evaluating whether a data centre can be built/upgraded to the required technical standards, whether a project can be delivered on time and whether the budget can support the required project delivery.

Interfacing
Liaising with corporate groups to gain a detailed understanding of the often diverging requirements for the project and developing an effective project brief.

Selecting teams and contractors
Interviewing and selecting consultant and contractor teams capable of delivering complex data centre projects in a challenging environment.

Monitoring delivery
Dealing with issues early, assessing progress and reporting accurately. We work closely with the cost consultant to ensure that the budget is adhered to, change managed properly and risk mitigated.

Commissioning coordination
Providing the interface between the project design/installation and the commissioning/IST, working closely with the commissioning manager.
